About the Role
Are you organised, proactive and enjoy a hands-on role? CFA is seeking an Admin Warehouse Support Officer to support the day-to-day operations of our state-wide Personal Protective Clothing (PPC) supply chain and the State Logistics Centre.
In this dynamic role, you'll contribute to both administrative and warehouse functions, processing orders, managing stock, entering data accurately, and ensuring timely dispatch to CFA Brigades and Districts. Working across office and warehouse environments, you'll be part of a supportive team while also trusted to work independently. This is a great opportunity to support critical services that keep our volunteers equipped and ready.
This role supports CFA's logistics and warehouse operations by:
Receiving, labelling, storing, and dispatching PPE and other stock
Accurately processing orders and maintaining inventory records
Performing data entry, filing, and general admin tasks
Creating shipping consignments and tracking deliveries
Supporting stocktakes and warehouse housekeeping
Providing responsive customer service and assisting with process improvements
About You
Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following
General knowledge and experience in a warehouse environment.
Demonstrated organisational and time-management skills with the ability to work proactively, with minimal supervision and to work effectively as a member of a team.
Ability to undertake a broad range of administrative tasks (word processing, data entry, filing etc.).
Ability to prioritise multiple tasks whilst being attentive to meeting deadlines and customer service needs.
Good written communication and interpersonal skills coupled with an ability to build and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders.
Good computer literacy skills including MS Office and database management (SAP or equivalent), with a sound understanding of inventory management systems.
Forklift license (Mandatory).
High reach equipment experience (desirable).
