Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care through the practice of acupuncture and other complementary therapies. This role requires a deep understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work effectively in a hospital or clinical setting, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their individual needs.
Duties
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine treatment plans based on individual health conditions.
Administer acupuncture treatments in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal health outcomes.
Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and complementary therapies, including lifestyle and dietary recommendations.
Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments, progress, and any changes in health status.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in acupuncture techniques and related medical practices.
Experience
A valid license to practice acupuncture in the state of employment is required.
Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication with patients and healthcare staff.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and satisfaction.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
