Future Team Leader – Accounts Payable at Flight Centre Travel Group
Are you ready to take the next step in your finance career by leading a high-performing Accounts Payable team? As the Future Team Leader, you will report directly to the Team Leader and play a vital role in guiding and supporting a dedicated group of Accounts Payable Officers. You’ll be part of a dynamic team committed to continuous improvement and delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers.
In this role, you’ll:
Ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time.
Oversee timely invoicing of chargebacks.
Prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and provide clear direction to your team.
Hold your team accountable and maintain a strong focus on results.
Develop and support team members to help them reach their full potential.
Reconcile and analyse financial data with precision.
Collaborate closely with our offshore team to achieve shared goals.
Manage internal and external escalations efficiently and professionally.
Your experience and skills include:
Previous experience in Accounts Payable or Financial Services environments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate your team.
Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for working with numbers.
Capability to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Familiarity with Lumina software is highly desirable.
Experience in the travel industry is a plus.
Qualifications or current study towards a Finance degree or related field is preferred.
