Duties and Responsibilities: · Post and process bill entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded · Update accounts receivable and issue invoices · Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations · Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines · Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned · Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed · Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports · Assist senior accountant in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings · Assist with other accounting projects. · Up to date ERP/SAP entries with records and registers. · Perform related duties as assigned by Director · Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Other Essential Requirements/Skills: · Proven experience as Accountant · Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures · Hands-on experience with Tally ERP / SAP (Preferred) · Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables · Accuracy and attention to detail · Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills · Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers · Planning and organizing ability. · Problem solving and solution-oriented approach is must. · Team player and administrative capabilities is must. · Excellent / Good computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook) · Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service · Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices Physical Requirements: · Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. · Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance as per policy. · Physically fit to perform duties.
