Account Executive
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Account Executive to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our coaching institute. The role involves fee tracking, petty cash management, vendor payments, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, accurate with numbers, and comfortable handling multiple accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily fee collection records (cash, UPI, bank transfers)
Update and track student fee dues and follow-up on payments
Handle petty cash, staff salary inputs, and reimbursements
Record vendor bills and manage timely payments
Prepare basic monthly reports (fee collection summary, expenses, etc.)
Assist in annual audit and coordinate with external accountant/CA
Ensure proper documentation and filing of invoices and receipts
Coordinate with front desk and admin team for payment-related queries
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance
Familiarity with Tally or similar accounting software
Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and invoice management
Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets
Accuracy, confidentiality, and strong follow-up skills
Comfortable working in an academic environment
Preferred
Prior experience in a school, coaching institute, or small business setup
Understanding of fee collection systems and reconciliation
