Maintenance Fitter

A Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing buildings, equipment, and systems to ensure proper functionality and safety. They perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and make necessary repairs to prevent breakdowns and downtime, ultimately contributing to operational efficiency
• *Performing routine maintenance**: This includes tasks like cleaning, inspections, and preventative measures to maintain equipment and facilities in good working order. *
- **Troubleshooting and repairing equipment**: Maintenance technicians diagnose issues with machinery, plumbing, electrical systems, and other equipment, and perform repairs or coordinate with specialists when needed.
• - **Implementing preventative maintenance programs**: Developing and executing schedules for routine maintenance to minimize the risk of breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment.
• - **Maintaining facilities and grounds**: This may include tasks like landscaping, painting, and general upkeep to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• - **Inspecting buildings and systems**: Regular inspections are conducted to identify potential issues, ensure compliance with safety standards, and prevent problems from escalating.
• - **Managing inventory**: Keeping track of supplies, tools, and parts used for maintenance and repairs.
