Full job description
The Indian Cook – Commis I is responsible for preparing authentic Indian cuisine under the guidance of senior chefs. This position focuses on maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency in accordance with established recipes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and cooking of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, biryanis, dals, and Indian breads (roti, naan, etc.).
Follow recipes and presentation standards as directed by senior kitchen staff.
Maintain mise en place (preparation and setup) for assigned stations.
Ensure proper handling and storage of all food items.
Work with the tandoor, gas ranges, ovens, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP or local health regulations).
Minimize food wastage and optimize stock usage.
Assist in receiving and storing kitchen inventory.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
