The Hamilton Family Health Team is one of the largest Ontario Health Teams in the province.
The Clinical Receptionist is a member of the HFHT who will support administrative functions for the delivery of high-quality patient centered primary care.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Booking patient appointments, greeting patients, and answering the HFHT phone line
Liaising with patients and families in a professional and compassionate manner while maintaining privacy and confidentiality
Maintaining patient records by obtaining, recording, and updating personal information
Scanning and faxing patient information and consultation reports
Liaising with practice–based primary care teams
Overseeing and monitoring room bookings and scheduling
Supporting the development of, and ongoing spread of groups
May be required to support on-site, in-person groups (various locations TBD in Hamilton), with the Patient Care Coordinator supporting groups expansion.

BA or Diploma in Office Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience
Exceptional customer service, communication and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, with proven ability to work well in a team environment
Demonstrated problem solving skills and initiative
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize while working within a busy environment
Experience with EMR (Practice Solutions Suite) an asset
Previous experience in a clinical setting an asset
