In this role one will promote and practice safe work habits while performing basic repairs and services on light, heavy duty, and diesel trucks; road construction and maintenance equipment; hydraulic systems; and electrical components
Diagnose and Repair – Diagnose, repair and complete basic tasks on a variety of equipment types such as tires, brakes, lighting, pumps and valves
Use basic scan tools to read and clear check engine light codes
Preventative Maintenance - Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment according to the preventative maintenance schedule and guidelines
Maintain Documents and Records - Prepare, process, and maintain required maintenance and repair documentation
Generate documents and work orders in computer system
Perform time and leave entry in appropriate systems
Perform Manual Labor – Perform manual labor to complete assigned tasks
Complete assigned tasks and projects as instructed
Safety shoes and other personal protective equipment (PPE) required in performance of job duties
