Role Overview
We're looking for a Cook to join our team at The Domain Country Club, a resort-style community nestled in 42 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. As a highly independent Cook, you'll prepare high-quality lunch and dinner meals for our residents, following set menus and supporting their well-being.
This is a permanent part-time position working every Friday, Saturday Sunday from 10am-6pm. You'll earn great weekend penalty rates and have the opportunity to pick up shifts at neighbouring communities.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $28.15 plus superannuation, award entitlements, and penalty rates. You'll also have access to an Employee Referral Program, Employee Assistance Program, and discounts on health insurance and retail/leisure partner providers.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the daily kitchen preparation of lunch and dinner meals following set menus
Follow OHS procedures and kitchen cleaning procedures
Ensure daily quality meal service to residents and visitors
Maintain food safety plans and follow all Food Services procedures
Requirements:
Knowledge and/or experience in catering/kitchen/hospitality settings
Food Safety Certificate or Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (desirable)
Two COVID-1+ vaccinations (required)
A friendly and warm persona with a passion for food and chatting with residents
Current Police check (required)
