We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The Chef will play a vital role in preparing and cooking delicious and visually appealing dishes for our guests. The ideal candidate should possess culinary expertise, creativity, and strong attention to detail. The Chef will collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production and contribute to maintaining a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure that all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and meet quality standards.
Execute proper food handling and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
Collaborate with the Head Chef or Sous Chef to develop new menu items, taking into consideration seasonal ingredients and guest preferences.
Monitor food inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and properly store ingredients to minimize waste and maximize freshness.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas.
Supervise and train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, portion control, and plating presentation.
Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of food, as well as adherence to temperature and sanitation guidelines.
Ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
Collaborate with servers, bussers, and other staff members to ensure smooth coordination and timely service.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest feedback or concerns regarding food quality or presentation.
Stay updated with industry trends, new techniques, and culinary innovations to enhance skills and contribute to menu development.
Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment by coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed.
Support and contribute to a positive and harmonious work environment.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role, demonstrating proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines.
Culinary degree or relevant certification from a recognized culinary institute is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation and presentation techniques, flavor profiles, and ingredient pairing.
Creativity and ability to develop innovative and visually appealing dishes.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail, ensuring consistency and accuracy in food preparation and plating.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other colleagues.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and respond to guest feedback.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Passion for cooking and a dedication to providing an exceptional dining experience.
