Primary Objective:

The Technical Writer Engineer will interact with developers and other subject matter experts to gather data, create technical customer documentation, and write technical reports for Telit products.

Main Responsibilities:
• Create customer documentation for a wide range of technologies including Wi-Fi, BT/BLE, cellular, etc
• Confer with engineers, developers, and other subject matter experts to gather data, create technical documentation, and write technical reports
• Prepare customer documentation plans
• Create, update, and test content for user guides, SDK/API reference manuals, and online help pages according to DITA standards
• Prepare technical drawings and detailed specifications
• Create flow diagrams describing software logic
• Follow and improve development processes for technical documentation
• Train employees on our technical documentation process

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3 to 5 years of experience as an information development engineer, software developer, technical writer, or related electronics engineering role
• Experience must include creating technical customer documents for a wide variety of software products
• Documentation Tools: Word, Framemaker, PowerPoint, RoboHelp, etc.
• Understand and Templates for XML documentation
• Experience using data formats like XML; style languages such as XSLT, and modeling languages like SGML
