1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Chef for Seafood A'la carte Restaurant situated in Toowoon Bay on The Central Coast NSW. As part of the apprenticeship, you will attend Tafe once a week. The Bay Cafe has a large menu, you will learn how to prepare cook and serve a variety of entrees, meals and desserts as you work towards your qualification. Own transport is essential, you will be required to work some split shifts, lunch and dinner. You must be available to work weekends. 5-day roster which includes 1 day at Tafe. A neat and clean appearance is essential. This apprenticeship is ideal for a person who is passionate about food and has a desire to become a chef. You must be able to follow directions and show a willingness to learn. This is a great opportunity to start your career and qualify as a Chef with a Certificate 111 in Commercial Cookery.
